Zevia Raises $20 Million For Its Turnaround; Investors Assured None Of It Will Be Spent On Sugar
The stevia-sweetened soda maker landed an investment from GP Investments. The money is also calorie-free.

ENCINO, Calif.—Zevia, the zero-sugar soda brand founded in 2007, landed a $20 million investment from GP Investments to support its turnaround plan, Food Dive reported. Quarterly sales were $45 million, up 1.1%, with a third-quarter outlook of $48 million.
"We looked at the money very carefully," said a fictional analyst. "Zero calories. Zero sugar. Some sweetness, but from a plant."

Zero calories. Zero sugar. Some sweetness, but from a plant.
Zevia said the funds will support growth. Investors said they hoped the turnaround would be sweet, but naturally, and without an aftertaste.
The Daily SKU is satire. Headlines and stories riff on real e-commerce, CPG and retail news, but the people, quotes, studies, surveys and most numbers are invented. No real person’s words are made up here. Each article ends with a factual “The Real Story” box and a “Riffing on” line linking the genuine reporting. Not investment advice. Not any kind of advice.
